With the first menu screen in a final stage i've moved on to look at the calendar itself, here just playing around with the circles once more, obviously want it to be in the same style as the printed one...
I think this layout has the most potential, keeping the month in the white space makes sense, it also enables me to make the circles larger which is obviously a bonus, making text fit inside the shapes more comfortably.

and the artist selection!
Now on this digital version i want to include much more information on the artists and where they are actually playing, not just the city. However there isn't enough space on the circles alone so, i intend to create a pop out window when one of the artists is selected, offering detailed information and external links to buy tickets and more info on the artist.
