Project Rationale

Concept statement 

Brief Title: YCN Collaborative /// British Music Experience  

What are the problems?

We managed to slim it down to 3 main problems, Firstly no one knows where they are! Me and Martyn were both unaware that the museum was in the O2 Arena, upon learning that it was i thought that there was a proper museum elsewhere with a smaller 'taster' version in the O2. 
Second problem we have come up with is that the body of visuals for the BME are not representative of what they are about, having no essence or richness.  
Our third problem is that there are no motion graphics or advertising, thus resulting in them not reaching to their target audience.

We intend to inform, promote & persuade families in London that the BME is all about interactivity and fun! 
Informing them where the museum is, promoting the fun & interactivity of the BME and persuade them to go through the means of exciting, fun and interactive visuals. 



In order to achieve this we will produce Printed designs, ranging from posters to flyers to packaging that shall all be in the context of the london area, including the Tube, bus stops, black cabs and billboards. 
We shall also use digital media to produce some motion graphics, taking these to possible areas such as TV & web advertising. Focusing more on the web, using sites such as Myspace, Spotify and on-demand sites! 


This will be produced using processes such as screen printing, wood block lettering and web sheet litho print.
