Tone of voice is fine, and suits the genre. In answer to your question, it's not too simple. The research is relevant and the sourced quotations are strong. The colours you have used however, don't reflect the existing material you've looked at. By using a combination of white type and a white background the frame appears empty, you could fill this out by adding a coloured background i.e. burgundy!! The type works well, but you could make it stand out more by applying a stroke (which would link into research). The audio and kinetic type work really well together. The end frames are better when they move into the frame (ident 01) in contrast to when it is static (ident 04). Also the logo goes unnoticed, you could put it in the gap between the type aswell/instead to make use of that blank space. (see sheet for diagram)
